Brand Identity
shaped by Lisbon
Boavista 83 is a student hostel designed as a starting point for discovering Lisbon and Portugal. Inspired by the geometry and repetition of traditional Portuguese tiles, the identity uses a flexible system of shapes and motifs to create an evolving visual language, positioning the hostel as a contemporary hub for living, meeting and exploring the city.
Rebrand
turned into a visual system
For its 25th anniversary, 180’s in-house design team developed a new visual identity rooted in the agency’s name and philosophy. At its centre is the 180 Shift, a playful graphic device based on the idea of turning a problem around to reveal a fresh perspective. The identity builds on this idea to create a flexible system across the agency’s communications, spaces and digital platforms.
Digital Campaigns
for adidas Football, Running
and Sustainability
Partnering with adidas to create more than 250 digital campaigns for Football, Running and Sustainability. The works included wireframes, creative concepts, visual systems and global rollouts, creating consistency across products, platforms, markets and brand initiatives.
Clothing & Exhibition
a canvas for Indian truck art
All India Permit is a project by Farid Bawa that documents, preserves and evolves the fading tradition of Indian truck art.
A special collaboration with Bonne Suits uses the all-purpose workwear suit as a canvas for a collection created with truck and sign artists in Nagpur, India. Twenty-one suits were hand-painted by Chandu Sontake, Raj Dongre, Akhlaq Ahmad and Kafeel Ahmed Ansari in collaboration with Farid. Photographed with drivers and workers in local truck yards, the collection became a living exhibition of the craft, later shown in Amsterdam and Brooklyn.

Brand Identity
hub for food, culture and activism
De Sering is a community-driven space where food, culture and activism come together, serving 300 donation-based meals each day to keep food accessible to all. The visual identity takes inspiration from founder Daan’s idea of rock balancing, reflecting a space that continues to evolve while holding different people, ideas and activities together.
Publication Design
to reconnect memory,
people and time
Vervlogen Verhalen (Faded Stories) is a publication created for people with dementia and their loved ones. The photography book is accompanied by 15 scented pens, each designed to evoke familiar places, objects and moments, from classrooms and swimming pools to brown cafés, Zwitsal, 4711 and patchouli. The scents act as prompts to revisit memories, share stories and write them down before they fade.
Based on research with the target group, the book is designed to be clear, simple and easy to navigate. Colours organise the different scent categories, while gradients reflect the shifting and fading nature of memory. The project is currently in development.
Music & Events
through sound, food and art
All India Stereo is an Amsterdam-based DJ duo by Farid Bawa and Rumi Kaul, rooted in South Asian music and culture. Alongside playing music, the project brings together sound, food and art through community-led events. Programming events, curating artists, and designing event flyers and promotional material.
